from the same midtown location for over 20 years. Chef/owner Jimmy
Hiroi o?ers a wide variety of fresh sushi and specialty plates, and he

C. I. Chu’s Mongolian BBQ
C.I. Chu’s, known for serving healthy Mongolian barbeque bowls, ?rst
opened it ’s doors six years ago at their Tanque Verde location. e
do-it-yourself style meals became so popular, C. I. Chu’s now boasts
a Campbell location and the Midstar Plaza restaurant. Customers
assemble their own bowl from a choice of meats, vegetables, noodles and
twelve sauce ingredients. e bowl of individually selected items is then
handed to the chef who fast-grills the meal at 600-degrees in a matter of minutes. Fresh and
fast, C.I. Chu’s is a tasty and a?ordable choice for lunch or dinner.
Crave Espresso Bar
Coming soon to Midstar Plaza!
Owner Kim Sciabica wants to create a “third place” at Crave Espresso
Bar – a relaxing environment between work and home. e interior
décor will be an inviting mix of modern style and 1950’s nostalgia for
a comfortable place to socialize. Crave’s brews are made with fresh-
roasted beans from local company Roaster X, and pastries are baked
daily at the restaurant. ose who want to enjoy Crave on the go will love
the convenient drive thru.
Rockin’ Pizza
Rockin’ Pizza has been rocking the Midstar Plaza since July of 2003.
e owner is from New York City, so the authenticity of their pies is
undeniable. If you’re looking for a challenge, take on the monstrous 24-
inch pie, “ e Super!” Try the meatballs too – owner Tommy Dubielak
has spent years in pizza kitchens perfecting his recipe. e rockin’ part
doesn’t stop at the platinum record décor. Stop in and you may see music
stars such as punk-rock band MxPx or country superstars Brooks & Dunn, who all list Rockin’
Pizza among their favorites. In true New York style, cheese is the big seller here, but specialty
pies like the “Meat Eater” and “Pub” (Supreme) are available for the non-purists.
Zivaz Mexican Bistro
Traditional Mexican food gets a contemporary update at this stylish
fast-casual bistro. Zivaz o?ers interesting, innovative dishes for the
whole family to enjoy. Zivaz was recently voted “Best Fast-Casual
Restaurant” in the Tucson Weekly and their enticing Hibiscus Margarita
received the distinction of “Most Original Margarita” at the 2006 Tucson
Culinary Festival. Zivaz o?ers an a?ordable children’s menu, and extensive
